Notice to Beneficiary of Non-Increase of Frozen Minimum PIA

The social security benefits to which you are entitled are based on a minimum monthly
benefit. This provides for a higher benefit amount than the amount figured under the
            regular methods.

Since you are not yet 65 and will not be 65 this year, a cost-of-living increase cannot
be applied to your benefits until a change in your work status permits payment of
            your monthly social security benefits.

*If you believe that this determination is not correct, you may request that your

through social office. If additional evidence is available, you should submit it with
            your request.
