Procedure – Birth, Marriage, Divorce and Death Records

When requesting a birth certificate, ask for a copia integra (long form).

Divorce decrees contain many pages; thus, if a divorce action was annotated on the marriage record, consider requesting the marriage record for proof of divorce rather than a copy of the divorce decree.
