GN 01050.003 Show the number holders' (nh) ssn on all claims material

The NH's SSN must be shown on all material forwarded to the processing center. The processing center handles all folders by SSN only. Any material without an SSN has to be returned to the DO for this information so that the material can be associated with the proper claims folder.

NOTE: The Disability Determination Services maintain their files by claimant's name; therefore, it is necessary to show the NH's and CDB's names on material forwarded to a Disability Determination Service (DI 11055.150 and DI 11020.055).
