DI 11010.020 Case Control Input - Disability Cases Forwarded to Disability Determination Services (DDS), or Disability Case Review (DCR) Procedure

DDS procedures in this subchapter also apply to DCRs.

Usually, the transfer of a Title II claim to DDS is handled by the Workload Management System (WMS). This occurs when a DDS Decision (DDSDEC) request date is entered on the DW01 screen. In addition, for claims entered into the Electronic Disability Collect System (EDCS) see Creating Electronic Disability Collect System (EDCS) Cases - DI 81010.020. All EDCS segments related to the case must be transferred to DDS. See Transferring Cases in Electronic Disability Collect System (EDCS) - DI 81010.085.
