DI 14515.003 Notices for Cases Involving the Issue of Participation in a VR or Similar Program

When processing title II, title XVI, or concurrent medical cessation determinations in which there is involvement in a VR or similar program (DI 14505.010B.), the due process notice for medical cessation must include language informing the individual of the potential for Section 301 payments. The DDS will prepare and release the due process notice according to procedures in DI 28080.001 through DI 28080.115 and include language as shown in DI 14510.010B.2.a.

ODO will make the determination of allowance, denial, or termination of Section 301 payments due to participation in a VR or similar program. Notice instructions are covered in DI 14515.007 through DI 14515.015.
