DI 28015.003 Policy When Certain Cases Require a Disability Redetermination

Certain cases require a disability redetermination instead of a continuing disability review (CDR). For more information on which cases require a redetermination, see DI 28005.003.

If a CDR has been initiated for an adult who was originally allowed as a Title XVI child, determine if there was an age 18 disability redetermination, see DI 28005.003.

If there has been no age 18 redetermination, see Public Law 104-193 in DI 23570.006.
