Regularly pick up material being released in accordance with a previously determined schedule. Sort and dispose of such material per the applicable portion of the instructions below.
Forward all earnings discrepancy (ED) folders for quality review.
Remove IRS and processing copies from the ED folders.
Staple IRS copies and clip related OCO copy on top thereof.
Handle in accordance with RM 03809.004.
Immediately forward all dictated letters and memoranda with related material for clearance to the appropriate destinations.
Place ED material in appropriate bins designated for filing and/or diary of folders.
Review each letter to ensure it is date stamped. Route outgoing form letters, routine memorandums, and ED cases for field office (FO) or other component for investigation to the mailroom.
