            A.  
               Receive periodic shipments of I-131's from the Immigration and Naturalization Service.
                  For some time, the forms may also be forwarded by the previous addressee, (Validation
                  Branch, DRO).

            B.  
               Group the forms into blocks of 50 forms per block. Assign a three-digit number (001
                  through 999) and label each block, “FORMS I-131 — BLOCK NUMBER      .”

            C.  
               The forms within each block established can be arranged in SSN sequence based on the
                  number shown in block 9 of the I-131. However, this will be left to the discretion
                  of the branch if it is necessary for ease in associating the forms with related EDP
                  output during subsequent handling.

            D.  
               A control register will be furnished by the Pre-Claims Branch to record various information
                  for each block of Forms I-131. The register should be maintained to record processing
                  dates and screening results for each block.
