The “Cadastro de Pessoa Físicas” (CPF) is a number assigned by the Brazilian Federal
Revenue to both Brazilians and resident aliens who pay taxes or take part, directly
or indirectly, in activities that provide revenue for any of the dozens of different
types of taxes existing in Brazil. This eleven-digit number can be located in the
CPF card issued by the Brazilian Federal Revenue.

NOTE: The CPF number is mandatory in order to meet the requirement for Brazilian Social
Security Benefits. Brazilian beneficiaries that do not hold an Individual Tax Payer
Registry card can acquire it by submitting the form via the internet at the Brazilian Revenue
            website.
