TN 49 (12-23)
Beginning in 1/78, if a reduced spouse is terminated and then reentitled, (months in which the spouse's benefits were terminated will be eliminated from the reduction factor when the spouse is reentitled.
When a spouse is reentitled after reduced spouse's benefits were terminated for the following reasons all months of termination will be eliminated from the reduction months:
divorce occurred prior to 10th year of marriage; or
NH's DIB ceased; or
spouse entitled to a higher PIA on their own record.
