A Title II beneficiary entitled effective 1/1/87 or later is entitled using all earnings from both NMISSS and SSA. There may be some Title II beneficiaries who were receiving Social Security benefits before 1987 based on Title II earnings only. If those beneficiaries also had NMISSS earnings they can receive a recomputation effective 1/1/87 to include all NMISSS earnings. Title II rules will continue to apply.
