A. Introduction – receipting claims

This policy applies to all field office (FO) employees who conduct claims interviews.

B. Procedure for receipting claims

The FOs report receipt of:

    Title II claims by completing the DW02 screen for Modernized Claim System (MCS) cases.

  • •

    Title XVI claims by completing the DW02 screen for Modernized SSI Claims System (MSSICS).
