DI 11050.015 Jurisdiction of Disability (DIB) and Freeze Applications for Career Railroad (RR)
Employee and Surviving Dependent RR Annuitant
Great Lakes Program Service Center-Disability Processing Branch (GLPSC-DPB) has jurisdiction
over DIB claims filed by claimants who have 120 or more RR service months (or 60 or
more months after December 31, 1995) or who have filed or are entitled to a survivor
annuity with the Railroad Retirement Board (RRB) on a different account number.

GLPSC-DPB returns all cases to the field office (FO) for processing after making the
decision.
GLPSC-DPB coordinates its determination with the disability determination prepared
by the RRB on the same claimant.
