DI 13501.015 DO/BO Referral to VR for Postemployment Services

When the DO prepares a continuance determination on Form SSA-833-U5 based on a concluded continuing disability investigation which showed that the individual was not working or, if working, was not working at the SGA level and the individual had previously received VR services the case should be considered for rereferral to the VR agency. This referral would enable the VR agency to determine whether the individual might benefit from postemployment VR services, i.e., services designed to assist the individual in adjusting to or maintaining employment.
