DI 29501.045 Informal Remand of Hearing Cases

An assistance request is significantly different from an informal remand. In an assistance request, the administrative law judge (ALJ) retains jurisdiction of the claim and makes the final decision. Informal remands are a pre-hearing request for a decisional review by the disability determination services (DDS).
