DI 29505.001 Disability Determination Services Assistance Requests – Consultative Examinations,
Evidence Development, and Requests for Information
The Social Security Administration (SSA) can request assistance from the state disability
determination services (DDS) for scheduling consultative examinations, developing
evidence, or providing information for cases that are not the jurisdiction of the
