The field office (FO) uses the EDCS routing form to send folder documentation (i.e.,
            medical evidence submitted by the claimant and not faxed into the Certified Electronic
            Folder (CEF), a paper Modular Disability Folder (MDF) associated with the CEF) to
            the receiving office.
         
         When transferring a CEF, the Field Office (FO) has the option to print the EDCS routing
            form. If there is documentation to send, the FO

                     attaches it to the documentation, and

                  • 
                     mails it to the receiving office. 
 
 
If you are not sending documentation, there is no need to print the EDCS routing form
         NOTE: Any component can print the EDCS Routing Form at any time through the “Print Forms”
            link in EDCS or eView.
