Entitlement to Hospital Insurance (HI) based on exposure to environmental health hazards (EHH) ends with the date of death.

Supplementary Medical Insurance (SMI) based on exposure to environmental health hazards (EHH) is subject to termination under the same rules that apply to termination of SMI under all other provisions. These are:

• •

  nonpayment of premiums;

• •

  voluntary request; and

• •

  death.
