NL 00711.001 International PSC Paragraphs - Introduction
This subchapter contains all approved numbered paragraphs for use in claimants, beneficiary
and general inquiries notices prepared in the International Program Service Center.
Because these paragraphs are not contained in any systems memory or print program,
they must be requested by operating personnel and are manually typed. Selected paragraphs
will be inserted in a notice when there is sufficient space, and continuity is not
disrupted. Otherwise, the paragraph may be added as a footnote or attachment.
The usage charts (finder tables) in NL 00711.005 and NL 00711.305 serve as guides for determining the appropriate paragraph(s) to be used in various
situations. The two major categories are paragraphs other than totalization and totalization
paragraphs.
