Renumbered from HALLEX section I-2-2-95

Parent-child relationships are a key element in the receipt of many types of benefits. The specific issue to be determined is whether you are the (child) (parent) of the wage earner. This will depend upon whether you meet the relationship requirements described in 20 CFR §§ 404.354 through 404.359, and whether you are dependent on the insured as described in 20 CFR §§ 404.360 through 404.365.
