RM 10210.825 Obsolete Form I-185, Nonresident Alien Canadian Border Crossing Card (CBCC)

IMPORTANT: This subsection is solely for historical purposes.

The Department of State (DOS) issued Form I-185, Nonresident Alien Canadian Border Crossing Card (CBCC) before 1999. The card was not subject to any time/distance limitations and was determined to be invalid for admissions because it did not contain a biometric identifier to match to the bearer, as required by section 104 of the Illegal Immigration Reform and Immigrant Responsibility Act (IIRIRA).
