RM 10210.674 Evidence of Employment Authorized Immigration Status issued by the Department of Homeland
Security (DHS) for an Alien in the Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands (CNMI)
for an SSN
This instruction applies to field office #E02 Saipan, Commonwealth of the Northern
Mariana Islands only. However, all offices must be aware of this policy. All other offices must continue
to follow the instructions on alien evidence for an SSN in RM 10211.000, unless otherwise
instructed. Accept all DHS evidence of employment authorized immigration status provided
it meets the criteria for reviewing and verifying DHS documents submitted with an
SSN application. For information on alien evidence for an SSN, see RM 10211.000.
In addition, DHS designated certain nonimmigrant classifications (classes of admission
(COA)) for use only in the CNMI. DHS evidence (e.g., Form I-94, Arrival/Departure
