GN 03316.075 Disclosure Without Consent to Contractors

Most of our systems of records contain a routine use allowing disclosure to contractors or third parties under similar arrangements to assist us in accomplishing official agency functions. The routine use requires that the contractor establish an agreement with SSA. NOTE: We may not disclose tax return information to a contractor to accomplish agency functions unless authorized by the Internal Revenue Service. See GN 03320.015A.3 for more information.
