The adjudicator is responsible for the accuracy of all benefit calculations. This includes performing all manual computations correctly, and verifying that data input into automated computations (such as ICF or MCS) is correct.

Follow the instructions on computations provided in the following sections of this chapter. Some offices may find that having a specific part of these procedures set out on a worksheet is helpful. Provide a copy of any such local worksheet to the regional office. The regional office will determine if the worksheet is accurate and whether to use them throughout the region.

Use nationally approved software programs for personal computers to perform computations.
