DI 10105.906 Processing Center (PC) Processing of Auxiliary Claims Filed After the Benefit Continuation Election (BCE)

The A101 Automated Determination of Award mentioned in DI 10105.905A will be controlled by the PC. The control should be annotated “Process auxiliary claim when disability determination is made-P.L. 98-460.” Upon notification that the cessation has been affirmed at the hearing level or that the cessation has been reversed to a continuance, the A101 should be referred to a claims authorizer (CA) for necessary action.
