Cases identified for priority handling should be developed and processed expeditiously. Development should be completed using the telephone, fax, or other electronic means of information gathering. Priority cases include:

• •

• •

  Presumptive Disability or Blindness (PD/PB) (see DI 23020.015);

  Appeals Council (AC) Cases (see DI 23020.025);

• •

  Homeless Cases (see DI 11005.004);

• •

  Terminal Illness (TERI) Cases (see DI 23020.045);

  Inquiries from Public Officials (see DI 23020.035);
