DI 28065.030 Disability Determinations - Insufficient Evidence

If sufficient evidence on which to base a disability decision cannot be secured because the Title II beneficiary is confined to a penal institution, prepare an SSA-833-U5 to continue the period of disability and enter in item 24: “Prisoner Case – Resolution of CD issue required upon reinstatement of benefits.”
