HI 00815.051 Establishing Buy-In Eligibility for Deceased Individuals

The procedures described in the preceding section (HI 00815.045) may be used to establish Medicare eligibility for a member of a coverage group who dies prior to establishing basic eligibility. Proof of death is required in addition to the documentation specified in HI 00815.045C.
