HI 01001.280 Extension When Last Day of Grace Period Is a Nonworkday

When the last day of the grace period falls on a nonworkday (Saturday, Sunday, legal holiday, or any other day, all or part of which is declared to be a nonworkday for Federal employees by statute or Executive Order), the premium will be considered to have been paid within the grace period if received (or deposited in the U. S. Mail) on the very first workday thereafter.
