To process typing work from another component the user must access the I Queue for the other component. This is done with the head command JUMP by placing a “J” on the head command line followed by the section and the new group (e.g., J W700 09I).

If typing work was requested by a technician and returned to the parent component, the typist in the parent component will have to access the queue for the component where the technician action was done to find the electronic document.

Documents printed and returned to the component for release will be returned to the component that has the document in its M/TEXT queue regardless of what component did the typing. If the folder has been sent back to the parent component, the documents should be forwarded to the parent component for release.
