HA 01405.001 Introduction to Division of Civil Actions

The Office of Appellate Operations (OAO) is responsible for certain actions on cases in which a claimant has filed a civil action. For a general description of OAO's responsibilities, see Hearings, Appeals and Litigation Law (HALLEX) manual HA 01405.002. Unless otherwise specified in HALLEX, OAO's Division of Civil Actions will handle these actions.

OAO's Division of Civil Actions is divided into several Court Case Preparation and Review Branches (CCPRB). The CCPRBs' circuit court jurisdictional breakdown is set forth in HALLEX HA 01305.007.
