RS 02001.120 Rule for Crews of Ships or Aircraft Under the U.S. - German Agreement

A. POLICY

A person employed on a U.S. or German ship or aircraft who would otherwise be covered under the laws of both countries will be covered only by:

  • •

    the United States if the person is a U.S. national,

  • •

    Germany if the person is a German national, or

  • •

    the country in which the person resides in all other cases
