Payment Responsibility

If the State DDS receives a request to make disability determinations on claims not related to Title II and/or Title XVI benefits, the requesting agency bears the responsibility for the funding and, if necessary the separate, staffing relating to the non-SSA program work.

Clearly identify all non-SSA program work costs to provide as accurate an allocation as possible. This is identified and defined within the Memorandum of Agreement.
