VB 00201.060 through VB 00201.200 describe the policy and procedures for withdrawal of an SVB application.

When SSA personnel approve a request for withdrawal of an SVB application, the application is treated as though it was never filed. A withdrawal request does not become effective until SSA approves it and the request can be approved only if all benefits paid as a result of the SVB claim are repaid.
