This alert generates when an employer submits a W-2c and a prior internal adjustment
has processed.
Example:
A previous action moved the prior earnings to a different year either for the same
Social Security number (SSN), a different SSN, or to Suspense.
Cause:
A prior internal adjustment caused the W-2c to require a manual action.
Action:
Determine the source of the internal adjustment and the reason for moving the earnings.
SSA prepares a new internal adjustment to apply the changes, based on the W-2c to
a different year for the same SSN, a different SSN, or to Suspense.
