RM 03851.001 Expediting Requests Pertaining to Congressional and Other Special Inquiries Involving Earnings Discrepancy Cases

1. A. 

   Expedite any requests for assistance on congressional or other special inquiries involving earnings discrepancies (i.e., scouting, etc.).

2. B. 

   Except as set forth in RM 03851ff, process these cases in accordance with existing ED procedures.

3. C. 

   All instructions for handling congressional earnings discrepancies are under the jurisdiction of the Office of Legislation and Congressional Affairs (OLCA).

4. D. 

   Congressional and special inquiries which are not covered by RM 03800.ff (no earnings problem involved) are to be forwarded to OLCA. Notify OLCA by telephone the case is being forwarded to their office for handling.
