GN 01708.210 Preparing Claims Packages in DIO for Claims Filed in Germany

A. Procedure - U.S. claim

Prepare a claims package on Form SSA-2960-U3-GE if a German coverage record is required and has not been requested by the FSP in Frankfurt.

B. Procedure - U.S. and German or German claim only

Prepare a claims package on Form SSA-2960-U3-GE if:

  • •

    a German coverage record is required and has not been requested by the FSP; or

  • •

    the German agency has requested information or documentation.
