A. Introduction

This section explains what the Norwegian coverage certification (INNTEKTSOPPLYSNINGER) looks like and describes some of the entries on the form.

B. Description of Norwegian coverage certification

The Norwegian coverage certification is a computer-generated form which lists a person's coverage beginning with 1967. There are 2 columns on this record which are of interest to SSA. These columns are starred on the exhibit.

1. AR

The AR column shows the year of coverage.

2. POENG

The POENG column shows the number of pension points earned. Any entry other than “0.00” indicates a year of coverage known as a “pension point year.” An entry of “0.00” indicates no coverage for the year.
