A. Introduction

The liaison agencies for Finland are the Social Insurance Institute (SII) which administers the residence-based National Pension Scheme (NPS) and the Central Pension Security Institute (CPSI) which administers the earnings-based Employment Pension Scheme (EPS).

Since the CPSI maintains the Finnish coverage records and will attach a Finnish coverage record to all claims for U.S. benefits, all claims should come from their office. However, you may receive requests for information from either the CPSI or the SII.
