GN 01738.210 Preparing Claim Packages in OIO for Claims Filed in Greece

A. Introduction

The procedures below provide guidelines to prepare an initial claims package, to request a Greek coverage record and to send information to IKA.

B. Procedure

1. U.S. Claim

    Prepare a claims package if a Greek coverage record is required and has not been requested by the FSP in Athens.

  • •

    Include Form SSA-2960-U3-GR in the package.

2. U.S. and Greek or Greek Claim Only

  • •

    Prepare a claims package if a Greek coverage record is required and has not been requested by the FSP or IKA has requested information or documentation.

  • •

    Include Form SSA-2960-U3-GR and information or documentation requested by IKA.
