A. POLICY

1. Effective Date(s)

  1. a. 

    At age 62; and

  2. b. 

    At FRA.

2. Method

Different methods are used for these adjustments.

B. DEFINITION - ACRONYMS

1. ORF

Original reduction factor for period beginning at age 60 or MOET, if later.

2. Age 62 ARF

Adjusted reduction factor at age 62. ORF minus the Crediting Months from age 60 (or MOET, if later) to age 62.

3. FRA ARF `

Adjusted reduction factor at FRA. ORF minus the Crediting Months from age 60 (or MOET, if later) to FRA.

4. ORF(50)

Original reduction factor for period of DWB entitlement (MOET to age 60). Not applicable for benefits 1/84 or later.

5. ORF(36)

Reduction factor beginning at age 62 (or MOET, if later).

6. ARF(60-62)

Number of months in the adjusted reduction period from age 60 (or MOET, if later) to age 62.

7. AARF

Additional adjustment reduction factor for period of DWB entitlement.

ORF 50 - Crediting Months from MOET to age 60.
