A continuing disability review (CDR) and determination will be necessary, when an event raises a continuing disability (CD) issue after the last disability determination was processed. The case will be forwarded to Disability Determination Services (DDS) for appropriate development and CD determination, if the event that occurs, raises a medical issue.
The DDS will also receive cases where the payments, previously suspended on a whereabouts unknown basis, were reinstated, but in which a CD issue is still outstanding.
