National DDS System

The National DDS System (NDDS) provides a full range of case control, management information and program data message capability. The Automated Sample Selection Program (ASSP) includes a quality assurance (QA) data base and federal sample selection features. An overview of the system can be found in SM 06002.001 ff. Detailed data entry instructions and descriptions of the management reports can be found in SM 06001.001 ff.

The NDDS is installed at no direct cost to the DDS. All maintenance activities on the system are handled by SSA. Periodic users group meetings are held to promote the exchange of ideas that will improve the system.
