DI 43525.040 Whereabouts Unknown-CDR

NOTE: See DI 43510.080

If during the continuing disability review the disabled beneficiary's whereabouts become unknown, the FSP should contact the postmaster to ascertain the beneficiary's current address. If this effort is unsuccessful, the FSP should make a personal visit to the beneficiary's last known address. Individuals in the immediate neighborhood (landlord, merchants, neighbors) may have knowledge of the beneficiary's whereabouts. If auxiliary benefits are being paid, the FSP or domestic DO may contact the auxiliaries. (See DI 13015.000 for DO processing instructions.)
