SI 00604.056 Rental Liability: Question 29

A. When and how to complete question 29

Complete 29(a) when questions 28(a) and (b) are "NO." Complete 29(b), (c), and (d) as appropriate.

1. Question 29(c) is answered “YES”

If the claimant answers 29(c) "YES," enter the name of the person with rental liability and answer question 30.

2. Question 29(c) is answered “NO”

If the claimant answers 29(c) "NO," enter the name of the person who has home ownership and answer question 31.

3. Question 29(d)

To identify the amount and frequency of the rent payment, question 29(d) requires a response for all claimants who answer "YES" to 29(a) or (b).

4. Leads to unstated income

If it appears that the claimant does not have sufficient income to cover stated expenses, consider the amount of the rent along with any other information about living expenses as a lead to unstated income.
