We are writing to tell you that we stopped your Social Security benefits beginning with the check you would have received in (1) .
Why Your Benefits Stopped
We stopped your benefits because we cannot pay you after you have been outside the United States for more than 6 months in a row. Our records show that you left the U.S. in (2) , and you have not returned.
|3330A||We cannot pay you now because you are not a U.S. citizen, and you do not meet any of the special conditions that would allow us to pay you after you have been outside the United States for 6 months. These conditions are explained in the enclosed booklet.|

When We Can Start Your Benefits Again
We can start paying benefits again if you come back to the United States. You will have to be here for a full month before we can start your benefits again.
If you return to the United States, please get in touch with any Social Security office. Bring your passport with you so we can verify the date you returned to the U.S.

B. Requesting instructions
Use after a determination is made that a beneficiary is not a U.S. citizen, and no alien non-payment exclusion applies. The 6-month period has expired. Therefore, benefits are being stopped currently or retroactively.
