NL 10608.110 What are the Standards for Titles and Salutations?

A salutation is the opening greeting that addresses the notice recipient.

A title is an abbreviation added to and preceding a person’s name. We use titles to indicate a person’s rank or profession and as a courtesy.

Do not use titles and salutations in notices, instead use the person’s name or title.

Most systems generated notices do not use titles or salutations.
