RM 03816.005 Controlling, Assembling and Assigning Scrambled Earnings Cases

1. A. 

   Include in this category all cases classified as “SW” for the electronic control system.

2. B. 

   Place on the control per RM 05000.003.

3. C. 

   Take the following action for all SSN's involved:

   1. 1. 

      Request both MEF and Numident printouts via the electronic control system per RM 10225.005.

      NOTE: 

      NOTE: If there is any indication that the case is a “same name” scramble, request itemization for all years.

   2. 2. 

      If all or part of the periods in question involve wages prior to 1978, request an SSA-1826 printout per instructions in RM 03803.007c, and RM 01403.

4. D. 

   Assemble all related material and forward within the module for assignment.
