RM 03816.007 Scrambled Earnings Cases to be Processed as Earnings Discrepancies

1. A. 

   A case will be handled as an ED where one or more of the conditions outlined below is present.

   1. 1. 

      A coverage condition exists as outlined in RM 03803.024A.4.

   2. 2. 

      The names of individuals are exactly the same and earnings are posted to one or more of the records.

   3. 3. 

      There is some difference in names but the manner of reporting does not permit the transfer of all questionable items.

   4. 4. 

      The transfer of questionable items cannot be effected because the SSN of one individual is not known.

   5. 5. 

      SER/SSI Interface cases which have not been fully developed by the FO. Handle these cases per RM 03816.011.

2. B. 

   Prepare a development request per RM 03803.055.
