DI 81007.060 Internet User (IU) Submits the Wrong Internet Disability Report (IDR)

Occasionally a CR will encounter an Internet Disability Report (IDR) that does not fit the claimant’s filing situation. For example, we receive an i3368 when the IU should have submitted an i3820. You cannot change the type of IDR in the Electronic Disability Collect System (EDCS).

To complete the correct disability report in EDCS, you must:

  • Delete the EDCS and create a new case;

  • Print the incorrect IDR via the Customer Information Control System (CICS) Internet query;

  • Transcribe the IDR information into the correct EDCS disability report; and

  • Contact the claimant or proper applicant to collect any additional information required to complete the disability report.
